I love the whole series of these which have been produced to support the ongoing WGA dispute. The website and video channel not only show actors, directors and writers coming together in solidarity in support of the WGA, it brings a whole new angle to industrial disputes...
You will no doubt see this a lot over the coming days but here is the very funny Comic Relief viral video for Red Nose Day . It's promoting the RND T-Shirts which are only onsale at TK Maxx . Nice piece of cause related marketing...for a very good cause.
Given BMW’s previous venture into branded web-based film content, I guess it’s no surprise that the Mini is now following suit.
The US division is developing a series of six films featuring a seventies action hero called Hammer and his car ‘Coop’ (Mini Cooper…geddit?). They were directed by Todd Phillips, who also did the Starsky & Hutch film. The first two were launched here on Monday, following offline teasers. They're not as slick as the BMW Ritchie films but a lot of fun nonetheless - and there's some gratuitous car washing to boot.
Next month, they will be doing a faux music video for 80’s MOR classic, Heat of the Moment by Asia. Can’t wait for that one (no, I actually mean it)
Perhaps this is what David calls B.S.P (Blogger Sensory Perception)....someone sent me this and then ten minutes later I spot it on Jason's blog. Anyway, an excellent ad, especially if you're an old throw back like me and remember the first time out for Survivor and the mighty 'Eye of the Tiger'...
This just tickled me. Apparently the freehand circle drawing championships happen in Vegas every year. This guy is the world champion at it. 'It's like the masters' he says, 'once you win it you always get invited back'. Perhaps I should start practising...
A brilliant take off of the famed 'Dove Evolution' film. Just goes to show that these things have a life of their own...if you haven't seen the original click here
