Blog Action Day '09

Blog Action Day - the annual event that unites the world's bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day - is here again. I've participated since it began in October 2007, when the subject was the environment. Last year it was poverty. This year, change.org have taken it over and the subject is climate change. I've no idea whether this kind of thing makes a difference, but 3,700 blogs with 10 million readers have already signed up and if it promotes discussion in any way, it's worth doing. So I've signed up again. And you can do so too, here.

I blogged for Blog Action Day in advance. I'm encouraging all of you to use the term "global warming" instead of "climate change," and explain why in this post about environmental writing.
